It has been said it takes several races to become adjusted to the Speed and eccentricities at Tony Stewart's Eldora Speedway. The Iceman's first visit netted him a 4th Place Finish in his first race at the famed facility and Coleman was 1/100 of a second off fast time in qualifying.
Kokomo last Sunday was another notch in his belt. Iceman passed 2 USAC Triple Crown Champions and a couple of Hall of Famers in route to a 4th place finish. More within. It takes time for a Team to come together and Brian Cripe and Coleman are shortening the learning curve. Even though Coleman is only 17, his experience over the past 2 years in Indiana are starting to pay dividends.
Brian and Coleman are a threat every night to contend for strong finishes and Feature Wins regardless of competition. Coleman's confidence is growing with every race and the team sees a strong season ahead.
With Top 5's already under our belt at Lawrenceburg, Kokomo and Eldora; Coleman and Brian look for a solid season ahead. Sure, it is a long season and there are sure to be tough nights for this team but overall, it appears that Team CGR will be a force week in and week out.
